A Brit, An Aussie and An American

First, how super-excited spaztic was I (am I) to have gotten a visit this past week from my longtime inner circle friends from Atlanta, Lee and Amy Amlicke.   You may remember them from my post of our hilarious weekend a couple years ago when they visited: Fun!

Lee's job has transferred him to Denver (YIPPEE!!) and Amy had a couple fantastic interviews out here, one of which would put her at CU!!  I'm already laughing about impending phone calls to her:

Carole: "Amy, what are you doing? Can I bike the 3 miles to your office and have lunch with you?"

Amy: "Carole, I'm working - just like I told you the last 5 times you called me today.  Get a life, woman!"

Ha!  (This exchange will likely happen often...)

I can't wait to have them out here!

On Sunday they left in the morning to do some house hunting before getting to the airport.   It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon so I decided to get in a short, easy swim.

When I arrived, my hilarious friends James Hadley and Leon Griffin were there and invited me to join their workout.   They're fun as they like to chit-chat and make jokes a lot between sets.  My kind of guys!

I told them this HILARIOUS awful joke:  What happened when the Asian man walked into a wall with a boner?   He broke his nose.  (!)   James and Griffo collapsed in laughter.   I kept telling them I was going to moon them while we swam and to keep alert.  Without missing a beat, James quipped, "The front, please!"   Funny.

We did some 200's, then some 50's of backstroke down / free back.

We finished up with some fast (well, they were fast) 25's.

SAY WHAT??

With this Australian and British eye candy, it wasn't a bad way to spend some time on a Sunday afternoon......

Yay... I'm so happy to hear that Lee and Amy are moving to Denver... I mean, I'm sad that I didn't get to meet them, but I know how much they mean to you! :)

That pool looks great. And I love your jokes!!!

Well if you can't have fun swimming when can you have fun?

I always wonder how guys grow such thick beards / goatee's. I start to scratch and itch after a few days and I'd never get that far.
