| i am typing with 1 finger with my arm in a sling.... more updates when typing is not so difficult. brief version: was in a bike wreck yesterday. i am fine (big picture) but broke both wrists, broke 3 vertebrae, separated my shoulder, broke 3 ribs and have a bruised kidney. good lord! what a mess. i am on great pain killers so that is helping.... and am doing my best to stay in great spirits given my aching heart. ironman florida is out .... and i will spend most of my remaining time in hawaii lying in a bed to help heal my "broken back". not how i envisioned this week would go. but, big picture i am fine. 6-8 weeks expected recovery. i am tough. i can handle it. (and i look great with BOTH arms wrapped up!) oye. thank you so much for your good thoughts and well wishes. |

Carole, so very sorry about the accident. Thinking of you here in Georgia. Will be out there soon to help out. By the way, we just started watching Ironman CdA coverage on Versus and saw you with Scott looking like a superstar! Can I get your autograph???
